The video was part of a podcast episode where the two women discussed their shared experience of being eliminated from the show.
Anna, known for her sharp tongue, didn’t hold back when it came to her opinion about Tori’s name. "Tori, I heard you wanted to reinvent yourself," Anna said, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "Maybe it’s time to change your name. It sounds poor."
Tori, taken aback by the comment, asked Anna why she thought that. Anna’s response was brutal: "It sounds poor."
The joke, while seemingly harmless, hit a little too close to home for Tori. As fans of the show know, Tori’s financial situation has been a topic of conversation in recent years, following her divorce from Dean McDermott and her struggles to make ends meet.
Despite the jab, Tori took it in stride, laughing it off and even poking fun at herself. "I guess I’m just a poor girl from Beverly Hills," she joked.
The two women went on to discuss their shared experience of being eliminated from the show, with Anna revealing that her focus was on executing the dance routines rather than making friends. "I think my focus was, ‘Oh, it’s a dance competition, so I have to execute the steps because that’s how I was trained,’" Anna said. "You have to do the steps, nobody wants to see you smile… [and] in ballet, you don’t smile."
